Toshiba

Founded in 1939 after Tanaka Seisakusho and Hakunetsusha were merged into one company. Today, Toshiba is a manufacturer of computers, CD-ROM drives, displays, laptops, hard drives, and other computer and electrical components.

4. July 17, 2001 - Toshiba announced it would enter the PDA market.
5. 1954 - Toshiba introduced its first computer, the "TAC" digital computer.
