Founded in 1987, Maxdata was a German computer products manufacturer, specializing in desktop computers, laptop computers, tablets, all-in-one computers, computer monitors, and computer servers. Maxdata was known for its Belinea line of computer monitors, which is no longer being produced today.
Maxdata filed insolvency proceedings at the Local Court in Essen on Wednesday, 25 June 2008. The Belinea brand was sold to Brunnen IT Group, and the Maxdata name was sold to S&T.
